For example, a Tesla model 3 has a combined power of 480HP, (283HP in the rear, 197HP in the front) which is roughly about 360kW. So I think, (but correct me if I’m wrong) during acceleration, the motors’ current power draw is way higher compared to the power draw when driving on cruising speed, because it doesn’t have to accelerate the whole car, just keep it on speed.
I was thinking, what is the motors’ continuous power draw when going on a totally flat asphalt surface with for example 40mph?
Unfortunately, I didn’t find anything about this online. I don’t own a Tesla, neither do I know much about physics, but I am interested in this stuff.
