I think once the video-based FSD neural net is fully functional, it could very easily transfer to any kind of vision task involving real time object detection, i.e. home robots. In this sense, Tesla might be the best positioned out of any of the tech giants to make robots actually practical.
If they have some kind of robots running around in homes and detecting humans and such.. that data could feed back into the FSD net to improve human and other detection better and so on. In essence Tesla might very well be the first company that solves real world vision in a true sense, i.e. completely replicating the functionality of the human visual cortex.
