I’m having to apply for jobs in several locations and am just now getting out of military. Based on trying to coordinate with my family, some of these jobs may be long commutes (1 hour each way), totaling in over 100 miles traveled per day.
I do want my next vehicle to be a Tesla (Model Y, performance), but I have no idea how the cars are after doing years of large amounts of highway driving. Is this a bad setup for owning a Tesla? Will these repeated long drives do anything dangerous to battery life? I’ve read up a lot on maintaining appropriate charge levels so I’m aware of all that, just curious on whether there’s something else I’m missing here.
EDIT: thanks for all the responses guys. This is very reassuring! I look forward to getting my Model Y!
