Today I got the email saying Tesla was starting the reimbursement process for folks who had to pay out of pocket for media unit replacement because of defective eMMC chips. I spent about $2K because of that in late 2019.
But, their automated reimbursement application site says I never had a qualifying repair – which is wrong.
Curious if anyone else has had the same issue.
I’ve emailed my service center to ask if maybe they miscoded my repair somehow…
