I have a 2019 Tesla Model 3 Standard Plus and for the last few months I’ve had squeaky breaks.
I’ve read posts about this issue but nothing recent showed up so wanted to get some fresh takes.
From what I was told at Tesla it’s due to regenerative breaking and other then burnishing the pads (which they did), they told me if the squeaking comes back (which it has), to try and drive fast and break hard and it should go away (I’ve tried, it hasn’t).
So wondering if any of you guys have had this issue and if so how did you get rid it the noise.
The car is only two years old and the fact it’s having issues and the response from Tesla is “break hard” is kind of upsetting.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have!
