I have a 2015 S P90D that I’ve had since new and I’ve super charged it quite a lot over the years. A couple years ago, like many other older S/X owners with extensive supercharging, my car became limited to a max charging rate of 90kw.
I was doing a bit of a rod trip yesterday and I was getting consistently over 110kw. It hasn’t charged that rapidly in a long time. I’d also taken another road trip a couple months ago and it was definitely still limited to 90kw.
Did I miss some news? Did Tesla decide the wear on the batteries from high power charging wasn’t so bad after all?
Anyone else noticed this?
